I actually live just around the corner from Lucy's and while there are many great Mexican restaurants in San Jose, this is still one of my favorites. The food is always made fresh, fairly priced and great service. The tacos are so delicious with the different sauces I have to have it every couple of weeks.

The food at Lucy’s Mexican Grill is delicious and full of flavor! Portions are generous and everything tasted fresh. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that the service could be a bit friendlier, and ordering in English was a little challenging. Still, definitely worth a visit for the food alone.

A no frills place but SO GOOD. Al pastor for the win! We always order and pick up as there isn't much seating inside. Salsas are spicy and on point! Updated 2/22/25 - added tacos photo

Great customer service and friendly staff at Lucy's. The quality of the food here is better than Chipotle and also the portions are a lot bigger. Which ever food you purchase here you can't go wrong and the orange sauce is pretty spicy if you're not use to eating spicy food.

Amazing service here, went in to grab take out for a super burrito, and they ended up giving me extra chip bags and free sodas. The food also was really good and very filling

Love this place!! Today I had the crispy taco plate with chicken, the shredded beef are also equally as amazing as the chicken ones. Once I got these to go and realized you need to eat these fresh. The portions are perfect and the price is on par. The place is small but the food flavors are massive. I’ve had plenty of Mexican food and this taqueria is by far the best I’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried Lucy’s yet, you’re missing out. Well worth the calories!! Yum

Food is simply awesome. But the fact they give you salsa, napkins, and chips. But zero utensils. Make sure you grab them on the way out.

Never been @ Lucy's but highly recommended by coworkers. I ordered the super burrito with carne asada. It was delicious! The meat vs the rice, beans etc ratio was on point. Will definitely be returning when I'm in the area. Parking is limited and they take credit cards.
